Starting Workflows in the Middle
TO START USING YOUR SETUP WITH ALREADY BOOKED CLIENTS
MANUALLY CREATE PROJECTS
NOTE: Any of the following actions taken while inside of a project will only affect the workflow in that particular project without changing your master template.
- Go to the Projects page on the lefthand menu
- Click "New Project" in the righthand corner
- Fill in the client's information
- Open their newly created project
- Set their project date, if applicable.
- Upload their contract and any other materials that you have already completed with them.
- Apply any payments you have already received from the client.
- Apply your new workflow
- Navigate to the "Workflow" tab
- Click the arrow in the "Apply a workflow" box
- Select the appropriate workflow
- Click "Apply" on the righthand side
- IMMEDIATELY scroll to the bottom and click the green button that says "Active". This will pause the workflow. The button will change to yellow and will say "Paused".
- Go through each step of the workflow and determine whether that step has already passed. You can "remove" or "mark completed" any of the steps that do NOT need to happen.
- Once you've gotten it up-to-date, go back to the bottom and click the yellow "Paused" button to make the workflow active again.
- Your workflow will now fire on your new client!
