Updating Canned Emails

Dubsado makes updating email templates in your account both helpful and confusing.

Some emails update automatically when you edit them under Templates → Canned Emails.

Some do not.

Here’s the rule:

If you can see the full email content when attaching it somewhere, it will not update automatically. You’ll need to remove it and re-select the updated version.

If you only see the email subject line or title, it will update automatically when edited in your library.

What Updates Automatically

  • Payment Plan Reminder Emails
  • Scheduler Confirmation Emails
  • Scheduler Reminder Emails

What Does NOT Update Automatically (Must Re-Select)

  • Workflow Emails
  • “Send Scheduler” Emails

Below is your personalized list showing exactly where each email needs to be manually reattached if you update it in your Canned Email library.
