What happens when you click Generate

Generate runs in stages, and the status line narrates each one as it happens.

The stages

Planning comes first. Every service is read together so the plan can decide where services share a workflow and where they split. Then the workflows generate, several at once, so larger maps do not scale time linearly. Then the Workflow Map assembles.

While the run is active

Keep the page open until it finishes. Switching tabs is fine. Closing or leaving the page can interrupt the run, and an interrupted run is never charged. The browser warns before you leave while a run is active.

If something goes wrong

If one workflow errors, the rest of the map still completes. If the run fails outright, nothing is charged and retrying is safe.

The design is deliberate: the only run that costs a credit is a run that finishes. Everything else is free to retry.
