The Export tab

The Export tab takes your Workflow Map with you. As the tab's own hint puts it: take the whole map with you, or grab pieces from the Content tab.

Three ways to export

The tab offers three buttons.

  • Copy to Clipboard copies the full map as text, ready to paste anywhere.
  • Download .md downloads a markdown file named after the business.
  • Download .html downloads the same content as the markdown path, rendered as a self-contained, styled, printable document. This is the version to send to a client or print for a build session.

Exports respect your settings

All three paths behave identically with respect to what is included. Both downloads and the copy honor the changes-only toggle and any active service filter, so what you export is exactly what you have scoped on screen.

If a service filter is active, the export is a partial map and the tab says so. If the changes-only toggle is on, the export contains only what the latest version changed.

The export is the handoff artifact. Everything the map holds, in a form you control.
