Adding a service to a business

A business rarely stays at one service. When you add a service, Dubsado Alchemy maps it into the system you already have, rather than bolting a disconnected map alongside it.

Starting the addition

In the action row, click "Add a service (1 credit)". The new service gets the same intake as any other: its name, its process from start to finish, and its payment terms (the placeholder reads "50% deposit, 50% before launch"). When you are ready, confirm with "Add service (1 credit)". The cost is one credit.

What happens to the map

By default, the whole map is re-planned across every service, existing and new. The plan reconsiders where the new service can share an existing workflow and where it needs its own. Workflows the new service does not touch are reused unchanged, so the parts of your system that already work stay exactly as they are.

The result is a new version of the Workflow Map: one connected system, not a collection of separate maps. Shared phases stay shared. Service-specific phases stand on their own. The structure holds together because it was planned together.

Revisions start fresh

The new map carries its own fresh revision allowance. Three included revisions, counted from the new version, ready for any structural adjustment the expanded system needs.

If generation fails

If every new workflow fails to generate, no credit is spent. You are only charged when the addition produces a map.
